This wine is the pinnacle expression off our Sutton Grange farm. The fruit was hand picked in March 2013 and whole bunch pressed, before fermentation naturally in concrete. It was aged for 9 months on lees and then blended and bottled on the Estate in January of 2014.
It is mid golden in colour, with lovely complex aromas of cashew, lemon curd and jasmine. The nose also has lifted notes of spicy kaffir lime leaf and cinnamon. The palate has subtle flavours of pear and stone fruit, with a balanced texture of lacy minerality and a waxy, creamy texture. The wine is concentrated and complex.
